Watson has been Assistant Professor of Music Theory and Technology at Temple University's Esther Boyer College of Music (Philadelphia, PA), currently teaches instrumental and elective music in the Parkland School District (Allentown, PA), and is an adjunct professor for Villanova University in their Summer Music Studies Program.
